The Trade Training Program has been designed to help travel trade obtain a better understanding of the Northern Territory and sell the region with confidence. Each quarter, we’ll provide up-to-date information about what’s happening in the Territory through webinars, interactive modules and up-to-date resources. This includes a newsletter with product updates, and upcoming events, along with opportunities for trade.
Resources and tools are available on this site to help travel trade obtain a better understanding of the Northern Territory and be kept up to date with new products, so they can sell the NT with confidence and create an authentic experience for their clients.

Next series coming on 11 and 12 February 2025
In the upcoming webinar sessions for the Northern Territory Trade Training Program, we’ll explore the Red Centre as the ultimate drive holiday destination. Join us to uncover the remote wonders of the Outback in the Red Centre. For our first webinar session of 2025, we've invited two local NT operators to share insights into their offerings and inspire you to craft the perfect Red Centre drive holiday itinerary.

In the last quarter, we took a closer look at the new Netflix series Territory, which is expected to boost travel to the Northern Territory. We explored the growing trend of 'set-jetting,' where travel decisions are influenced by iconic film and TV locations. The series showcases stunning locations across the Top End, sparking curiosity and inspiring viewers to experience the NT and its station-life offerings firsthand. Additionally, we provided an update on new NT products and upcoming events.

Join our new Aboriginal Tourism Product Awareness Program (ATPAP)
We are excited to present to you our new training program specialising in Aboriginal tourism products and businesses across the NT! The program aims to shine a spotlight on Aboriginal tourism experiences and to connect you with the operators behind them. This is your chance to learn more and potentially win a spot on a dedicated ATPAP famil to the Northern Territory!
